Benjamin Breene Levine, Esquire

Ben Levine practices primarily in Western Pennsylvania where he specializes in State and Federal criminal defense and in Plaintiff’s civil litigation.

Attorney Levine possesses the unique experience of having tried cases on the criminal defense side as an Assistant Public Defender, and later having prosecuted criminal cases as an Assistant District Attorney.

As an Assistant Public Defender in Venango County, Ben successfully defended more than 25 cases argued at trial. These offenses ranged from driver’s license suspension allegations to felony sex offenses and other violent criminal charges.

After having worked the defense side of criminal law, Ben accepted a position as an Assistant District Attorney in Venango County where he gained experience prosecuting the same broad range of criminal offenses that he previously defended. In this capacity, he worked closely with law enforcement, approved and filed charges, assisted in seeking and obtaining search warrants, negotiated plea agreements and prepared dozens of cases for trial. In approximately two years in the District Attorney’s Office, Ben had successfully obtained convictions on more than 30 cases argued at trial.

It is Attorney Levine’s combined background in criminal defense and criminal prosecution that makes him particularly well-equipped to represent clients’ interests in criminal matters.

Ben’s extensive courtroom experience and success in proving his case has led to achievements as a litigator in the civil arena, where he seeks to recover damages for aggrieved clients.

Ben is a graduate of Penn State University where he studied Health Policy and Business. Attorney Levine earned his Juris Doctorate from the Duquesne University School of Law, where he focused his studies on evidence, trial advocacy and tactics.
